Out-of-town adoptions require a visit with a local agency who will screen on the HSHC's behalf. All animals are placed with the expectation of being indoors.  We do not adopt to outdoor only homes. Dogs and cats are placed with the expectation they will become a permanent member of the adopting family and that adjustments to changes in life style will always include the pet.    3938 Barnes Mill Rd.
