What is Paws United Dog Rescue’s adoption process?

There is an adoption donation for every dog adopted. This is to ensure that we can continue rescuing/re-homing the dogs in need. It helps pay for food, vet bills and any other expenses that the dogs require while in foster care with Paws United Dog Rescue. Each dog goes to their new home after being vet checked and vaccinated. Any dog over the age of 6 months has also been spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. All dogs over the age of 6 months have also been heart-worm tested. All adopters will receive a medical history and be made aware of any behaviour problems and any known history from before the dog came to us.

Is April good with kids?

April is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is April good with other animals?

April is good with other dogs. April is not good with cats.

When can I meet April?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt April?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
