April's Story
April was found as a stray with her brother littermate in rural Oklahoma. Sadly, the sheriff's office there didn't have any resources, and they were tasked with finding them a rescue or euthanizing them. Thankfully, they reached out to OAA so we could help. April is a fun, loving, high energy dog and would thrive in an activie family that would take her on walks and let her romp around in the yard. She is learning manners and proper leash walking.

April is a big ol' pup who thinks she is a lap dog. She adores human attention and affection. She is incredibly smart to boot. We think she would do very well with learning new tricks!

April seems to be a little dog selective, so it's possible she could be in a home with another dog, but we'd need to do a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings first.

While her brother was adopted, April has been waiting too long for her forever home! Please consider adopting her and letting her live the life of luxury and happiness she deserves.
