Appa's Story

Appa is a striking Husky mix who is eager to train and work with his people. A smart and confident dog, Appa already knows skills like sit, down, heel, stay, and leave it. He would enjoy learning new tricks and skills to keep his mind active. He is both food and toy motivated, and also enjoys curling up on the couch for a good nap.

Originally trained as a service dog, Appa has a difficult time when seeing other dogs on leash or on the other side of fences. Appa would do best living in a home with a yard, where he could relax without having to worry about seeing other dogs. Appa most enjoys the company of people, but may be able to live with a chill dog or confident cat. He previously lived with a small, older dog. Because of his size and strength, he is suitable for a home without young children.

Appa is 70lbs, approximately 4 years old, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee of $300 includes two private training sessions with one of our trainers.
