Life with Appa means laughter, movement, and a whole lot of love.<br/><br/>Because he’s such an enthusiastic guy, Appa can get a little jumpy when he’s excited and is still learning his manners. For this reason, any children in his new home are required to be age 10 or older so they can help support his continued training. Appa is still learning how to interact with other dogs in an appropriate manner, but he may enjoy having a large canine companion after a slow and structured introduction. If you already have a big pup at home, we are requiring that they meet here at the shelter to make sure it’s a great match. However, Appa is not a fan of small animals, so he’ll need a home without cats, small dogs, or other little critters. Appa is looking for an active family who’s ready to embrace his energy, continue his training, and enjoy all the fun that comes with a young, spirited dog. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining best friend.
