*Arriving 10/03*<br/><br/>Hi, I’m Apollo! I’m a handsome 6-year-old, 86-pound German Shepherd—and yes, I know tricks!<br/><br/>I was saved just hours before I was scheduled to be euthanized. My dad unexpectedly passed away in New Mexico, and I was brought to the humane society. Because they didn’t have room for a dog my size, I was placed first on the euthanasia list through absolutely no fault of my own. Thankfully, I was given a second chance, and now I’m searching for the forever family I deserve.<br/><br/>I’m neutered, house-trained, extremely well trained, and wonderfully well mannered. I’m good with kids, cats, dogs, and people. I walk nicely on a leash and already know several tricks!<br/><br/>Like many German Shepherds, I can experience some separation anxiety. Losing my dad and suddenly finding myself in a shelter has been especially difficult and confusing for me. I’m hoping to find a patient, loving family who will help me feel safe again and remind me that I’m finally home.<br/><br/>I may be a big boy, but I’m truly a gentle, loyal companion with so much love to give.
