Apollo was dropped off at his local animal shelter.<br/><br/>Being a young pup, the shelter environment was very overwhelming for him. This caused Apollo<br/>to be shut down & not feeling safe enough to meet potential adopters so he was put on the list<br/>to be euthanized. Luckily ACDRA was able to rescue him & place him into a foster home!<br/><br/>Since being in our foster home, Apollo has flourished & gained his confidence in himself! Apollo<br/>has quickly learned to sit, down & to patiently wait for his food to be served (this is a true test of<br/>patience as he loves to eat!)<br/>Apollo loves other dogs! He fell quickly into line, following along & accepting his role with our<br/>resident cattle dog. He has done very well at our local dog park bar; will run & chase for hours<br/>with a playmate. Apollo feels most secure with another dog in the home & would love to have a<br/>playful & patient dog sibling.<br/>Apollo is still learning he can trust new people. <br/><br/>He gets very timid when meeting strangers, but<br/>once he knows you are safe, he becomes the classic velcro dog. His time at the shelter means<br/>he doesnt enjoy being left alone in a crate & being away from his people still feels scary for him.<br/>As a puppy, Apollo still has a lot of energy, but with a few walks throughout the day & outlet for<br/>his puppy chewing/teething, he is able to be patient while his foster parents work from home<br/>(with the occasional mid-meeting bark). <br/><br/>Apollo enjoys car rides & going places with his foster<br/>parents.
