Apollo's Story

Apollo is a great dog! He is dignified, attentive and protective of his family.

Snuggles? YES. He will rest his head on your knee in contemplative or reassuring adoration.

We would prefer a household that allows the dog on the furniture. Apollo lost his former family because they all died. He lives for connection, closeness and comfort and we have allowed access to furniture in the foster home.

You should be capable of long walks and exercise. Apollo loves to go on hikes and play ball.

A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED.

VET REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED; we will request that you call your vet and allow a release of information to All Species Kinship. We are looking for vet history and preventatives use.

Apollo loves older kids (10yrs+), is ok with cats albeit inexperienced. He is curious but not motivated to chase, and has no prey drive when outside. You will need to understand slow introduction to cats.

Apollo is fine with other dogs but should not be fed near or alongside another dog due to prior history of starvation with another very dominant dog.

Apollo is indifferent to other dogs; our priority is finding a great family who has the time and interest to spend vs finding a dog companion for him. Dogs ARE ok, pending introductions. He is NOT a candidate for a super hyper playful dog. Apollo is a "people-dog" and that's an important distinction we are making. Dog friends are ok if they are the suited personality type.

Serious inquiries only. A.S.K. requires a home-visit inside and outside of your home.

Located in Battle Creek, Michigan.

To begin an adoption conversation:

Do not call.

Send a message via Facebook: www.facebook.com/allspecieskinship

IF no social media exists, you may then email: allspeciesk@gmail.com

Do not waste your time, or ours. unless you have a fenced yard and vet references.

Your address is required upfront.

Do NOT inquire if your existing dogs or cats are not spayed/neutered, vaccinated or on preventatives. A.S.K.'s rescued animals are in private foster homes where they have dedicated one-on-one care. This is great news for potential adopters! Our foster homes get to know our rescued companions thoroughly; this allows us to match you with a lifelong companion that fits your lifestyle and personality. Steps to Meeting an Animal 1. Please Facebook message for fastest reply or call 269-967-6607 and express interest in a given animal 2. We will either conduct a conversational interview or send you our inquiry forms via email. 3.
