Meet Apollo!<br/><br/>He is an energetic dog who thrives on activity and engagement. Apollo loves to run, jump, and explore, and he will do best with an owner who can provide plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Due to his athletic nature, he has been known to escape fenced areas and leashes. Because of this, Apollo will need to be walked on a harness or The Walkie, which we have for sale in our Re-Tail Shoppe. He would also either need supervised outdoor time and/or a tall, sturdy fence.<br/><br/>Apollo has met other dogs and did well with them. He has not met cats. He has met children but may need some extra supervision around them because of his high-energy levels. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children is always recommended when bringing home a new furry friend. Ask a TCHS staff member for information on how to ease the transition!<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
