Apollo's Story
**Connecticut or Rhode Island Only **

Apollo is a 2 years old male hound/pointer mix. He is energetic and playful and will need to be exercised and rehabilitated. He is currently in foster care and his foster mom says Apollo is snuggley andaffectionate. He does well with the othere dogs in his foster home. He has not been checked with cats and chldren. Given his disabiity he would do best with older kids who undertand boundries.

Apollo’s surgery went well, and now it’s time for this boy to heal and find a home! Apollo will do best in a home with supervision for now, as he really wants to be with people, and will need to learn to compensate for the loss of his front leg. As sad as it is for Apollo, dogs do adapt pretty well after an amputation. . If you are interested in adopting this sweet, high energy tripod, please fill out an application by going to neccog.org, or calling CT Animal House at 860-271-1361. Or call NECCOG Animal Control at 860-774-1253.
