Anthony

Meet Anthony!

Anthony — Your Sun Soaked, Adventure Ready, Slightly Spicy Sidekick
Anthony is a 2 year old, 30 pound terrier mix who has lived enough plot twists to earn his own memoir — and somehow came out the other side as a sun shine loving, adventure seeking, loyal little dude with a hilarious personality and a soft spot for his chosen person.
This guy has been through heartworm treatment, multiple transitions, new environments, new routines — and he has tackled every single one with ease when he is with the people he trusts. He is muzzle trained and needs someone who will keep that structure going because it helps him feel safe, confident, and ready for whatever adventure you dream up next.
And oh, does Anthony love an adventure.
He's gone kayaking, boating, and made dog friends of every size in his foster home. He loves walks, errand runs, and any outing where he can see the world — as long as strangers ignore him. He's the kind of dog who wants to be included, but not approached. Hell trot around proudly, sniff the breeze, and soak up the sun.
At home, Anthony is a medium to low energy entertainer.
He does great while you're away at work, entertains himself, and greets you like you're the best thing that's ever happened to him. Hell toss toys in the air, do his signature zoomies, and then melt into a sunbeam like he's auditioning for a dog calendar.
Now, Anthony does have opinions — and his future family needs to take these into account.
He needs a kidfree home and thrives best with women, or with the right guy: specifically the kind of man who has a soft spot for dogs who will not be offended when Anthony does not want to be friends right off the bat. Anthony has proven that he can be mans best friend...just with time.
Anthonys ideal home is:
* Calm
* Predictable
* Patient
* Full of stuffed toys, sunshine, and limited child interaction
He's dog friendly and possibly cat friendly. When Anthony chooses you though, he chooses you forever — and hell show you every day how grateful he is to have finally landed somewhere safe.
If you're looking for a quirky, loyal, sun loving, errand running, adventure ready, slightly spicy little guy who has fought hard to become the best version of himself, Anthony is ready to meet you. He's not perfect — but he's perfectly Anthony.

Anthony is available for adoption through Ma, Paws, & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI.
