Anthena's Story

Meet Athena – your steady, soulful sidekick

At 7 years old and just shy of 50 pounds, Athena is the definition of a “been there, done that” kind of girl. She’s past the puppy chaos and into the best years of companionship—calm, reliable, and perfectly content to be your easygoing partner in life.

Athena is fully housebroken and has lovely leash manners, making her a joy to take out and about. Whether it’s a quiet stroll through the neighborhood or a relaxing evening at home, she’s happy just being by your side. She’s also good with cats—a bonus for a well-rounded home!

She absolutely adores people and quickly becomes a favorite among volunteers. Athena is the kind of dog who bonds deeply, offering quiet loyalty and a comforting presence.

Like many confident ladies, Athena can be a bit bossy with other dogs. With proper management, she does best with male dogs or would be perfectly content as your one-and-only.

If you’re looking for a dependable, loving companion who asks for little but gives so much in return, Athena might just be your perfect match.
