Everyone, meet Anny! This beautiful girl joined her Hero foster family just a day ago and is already melting hearts. <br/><br/>She’s an Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler mix, and about two years old. She very quickly latches on to people, and loves getting attention. Snuggling, getting her belly rubbed, or just walking beside you…it really doesn’t matter as long as she is near her people.<br/><br/>She loves being with a family, as she moves person to person and thrives on sharing the love. She takes a minute to get used to other dogs…likely a product of being in the shelter and being a sweet, sensitive girl, but she is already adapting to our two dogs. She would thrive as an only dog in an active family, and would need a yard with a fence where she could show her speed and burn some energy.<br/><br/>Above all, she needs a family who needs her, and will show her as much love as she will show them…hers will come back 10 fold. Anny is comfortable in her crate and sleeps through the night without a peep. She appears to be potty trained, walks well on her leash and is just a joy to be around. Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
