Annika

Say hello to my little friend… Annika. A 4 year old fun loving sweet girl with the energy of a younger pup. Before she came into Rescue, she was dumped in a rural area just outside of DFW. Annika loves long walks on the beach (if you have one, but just in the neighborhood works well for her too), though that activity has had be be curtailed just a bit as she was heartworm positive, and has undergone treatment at one of our veterinarians. She loves loves loves her crate, and when told to “crate up”, it is, “Oh Boy, Oh Boy I can get in the crate!!!”. In fact when she first came to the foster home, she spent >90% of her time in the crate, door open, just her choice of places. She still chooses to spend time in the crate, but she is living life with the foster family more and more.<br/>Annika is VERY food motivated! And more than willing to eat her share, your share, their share… And if you have anything in your hand, in her mind, it must be a treat for her. <br/>Her manners are still those of a 1year old, not the 4 year old she is, and her foster family is working with her.
