I am 4 years old and weigh 23 pounds. I need a new home because I was released from a breeder. I am being fostered in St. Louis, MO<br/><br/>I am the sweetest Boston terrier. I have slowly warmed up to humans and love to be petted. I will snooze all day in my little bed if you let me. <br/><br/>I love to play outside in a yard. I am learning to run and becoming more comfortable walking on grass. I have started to play with dog toys, but still very new to this.<br/><br/>I get along with and love other dogs and follow their lead well. I currently live with 3 bostons and a pug and I love all of them. I have had play dates with larger dogs and also get along with them very well. I am learning how to use a bird bell to let my foster mom know I have to potty.<br/><br/>I would do best in a quiet home as noises scare me and I cower if startled. <br/>I need a family who will be patient with me as I learn how to be a dog.<br/>I would be a perfect dog for any family who understands I need time to adjust.<br/><br/>Here's a little more about me:<br/>Housetrained? Working on it. Doing very well, learning from my dog friends.<br/>Leash-trained? Yes<br/>Rides well in car? Yes<br/>Good with other dogs? Yes<br/>Good with cats? Not yet tested<br/>Good with young children? Yes but very timid so prefer older children at this time<br/>Good with strangers? Yes but scares easily<br/>Shy or confident? Shy<br/>Barks? Only when the doorbell rings<br/>Apartment qualified? Yes but she loves to go outside so would benefit from a place to walk outdoors.<br/>Any Special needs or Health Issues? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced.
