Meet Annie!<br/><br/>Annie is a roughly 1.5-year-old female German Shorthair Pointer with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. She came to the shelter after her family had to make an urgent move and were unable to take her with them, and she is now hoping for a fresh start with a forever family.<br/><br/>Annie has lived successfully with both dogs and cats and has done well with them. She is house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a home that understands her needs. Annie can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once she warms up, her sweet and friendly personality shines through.<br/><br/>As a true sporting breed, Annie is very active and energetic. She loves to run, play, and stretch her legs, and she would thrive with an adopter who can match her activity level and provide plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment. Annie would benefit from some basic training to help curb normal young-dog habits like chewing, but overall she is a loving, affectionate girl who wants to please.<br/><br/>Annie is currently awaiting her spay surgery and will be vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.
