Annie's Story

Little orphan Annie found herself stuck in a shelter needing someone to notice her. Thankfully, a rescue hero offered to foster her and give her a chance to find her perfect family!

Annie, who is around 2 years old and about 58 pounds, is crate trained, leash trained and LOVES car rides. She hasnt met an animal she didnt like. Even the pot belly pig that found himself at the shelter. Cats are also her friend! She does love for other dogs to chase her and engage with her and one of her toys. She will probably be best in a home with other active dogs to share her enthusiasm for life!

Annie does have active spurts of energy she is especially happy to see her foster mom come home. Initially she will jump up a bit, but she is learning quickly. Annie does calm down quickly after showing her excitement at seeing her people. She is described as active, tender, and patient. Some pretty great character traits!

Annie doesnt really need a Daddy Warbucks but she sure hopes she finds her way into a loving family who will open their home and heart to her precious self.

Annie will be available for adoption in RI on, or after, August 1st, 2026

If you are interested in Annie and are an approved adopter, please contact your Adoption Coordinator to be added to Annies list.
