I’m a sweet, lovable orange roan beauty who was living the good life, until sadly my owners got too old to take care of me. I was with them since I was a puppy, and since I had them all to myself, it’s been a big adjustment to come into a home with 4 other Britts! The first few days after I got here, I didn’t venture too far from my crate, although I always made sure to wag my tail when one of my foster parents would come by to check on me, or sit with me for a while. As soon as I started to feel more comfortable with all the activity, I began to leave my crate and check out the house and the yard. I still like to take my naps in my crate, but I like to be close to my foster parents whenever I can! They tell me that I may be best in a home that doesn’t have too many (or any, preferably) other dogs, so that I can enjoy all the wonderful attention that a beautiful gal like me deserves!

My foster parents have also told me that they think I’m one of the sweetest, gentlest Brittany’s that they’ve ever met – which is a pretty big compliment considering that they’ve known a lots of Brittanys over the years!

When I’m outside, I do enjoy patrolling the yard and looking for lizards (I used to hunt when I was younger) and I really enjoy the evening walks that we all take as a family. Car rides are wonderful (I am a Brittany, after all) and I know all my commands - sit, stay, down, come.

My foster parents have told me that while I’m a beautiful lady, at 52 lbs, I need to shed a little weight. Daily walks around the block and playing a little with one of my Brittany siblings should take care of that. I’ve been to the vet and while they say that I’m a healthy girl, I do need some dental work done, which the nice ABR folks said they would take care of before I go off to my forever home. Did I mention that I’m heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive and microchipped as well?

I would love to be part of a family who’s looking for a low maintenance gal who doesn’t need a whole lot of exercise, but I do love lots of attention, kisses, and hugs. I’ll always give kisses in return! Please submit th adoption application and mention Annie - 5151, and contact my foster family for more information.

History:
Annie’s owners were no longer able to take care of her due to age and health reasons. Annie’s extended family wanted her to have the very best with a loving home in her “retirement” years and contacted ABR
