Annie's Story
Heartworm Prevention is given on the 19th of each monthPlease join us in giving a very warm welcome to Miss Annie as she joins the CTDR family. Annie came to rescue after her owners made the difficult decision to surrender her when she went down in her back and they felt they could no longer provide the care she needed.

Annie was initially resting comfortably at a specialty hospital while undergoing diagnostic testing to determine whether surgery to repair her disc herniation was an option. Following her recovery period, she was expected to need additional medical care, including being spayed and a much-needed dental.

Update: Annie was ultimately not able to have back surgery, but she is doing great with her set of wheels and is thriving in her foster home. She is learning how fun life can still be and continues to impress everyone with her sweet spirit and resilience.

Welcome to CTDR, Annie!
