Hello there, I’m Annaleigh. My foster family has been calling me Leona and I am totally cool with it. I am a genuine sweetheart with a kind soul starting on my journey to trust people and enjoy all that life has to offer. I am a shy 4yo who needs time to feel comfortable with new people, but I promise I am worth the patience and the wait :)

I love having other dogs around and think it would be the bees’ knees to have a four-legged companion in the house to help build my confidence. I consider myself a playful spirit once I build trust and would love to play with another dog and with my people. I am also a big fan of cuddling on the couch!

When my foster family goes to work, I am cool hanging out in my kennel and an awesome thing about me?!?! I am completely house-trained… pretty sweet huh!

I am fearful of new / loud sounds or unexpected movements, so I am still working on feeling comfortable in new spaces. I am working really hard and pushing myself more and more each day to expand my horizons, but I would love a home that is patient and kind with me as I do. I am still not up for going on walks yet, they still scare me a little, but I am getting better every day.

I cannot wait to grow with my new home and continue to learn the simple, yet wonderful things life has to offer. I would love to be in a home with a well-adjusted dog to help me grow. And cats are cool too. But because children tend to be noisy and unpredictable, I would prefer there not to be any in the home. I would also love a home with a comfy couch to cuddle on :)

I also take daily anxiety meds to help me out; they are about $5 a month.




Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.

Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
