Annabella

Annabella is a senior Boxer mix who was been with us since November 2025. She is an absolute babydoll and is a volunteer favorite. Annabella has lots of spunk and loves to run and play, which is surprising given everything she has been through. We don’t know her whole history, but her medical work tells us enough. Annabella recently had a cancerous lump on her ribs removed with low chances of it coming back. It was also discovered that, despite all her spunk, she has severe arthritis and spondylosis (bone spurs) along her spine. Luckily all of this can be managed with conservative care. She is recovering like a champ and has been unfazed by everything. <br/><br/>Annabella has always made a quick and easy adjustment everywhere she stays. She does so well in fact, that she is notorious for giving herself happy tail and is now used to the routine of having her tail wrapped as protection. Annabella is excellent with all kinds of other animals, like cats and dogs, and she LOVES every person she has ever met. She loves being the center of attention but she’s great at sharing too and is extremely patient if someone else hogs the spotlight. Annabella has excellent house manners and is comfortable being kenneled if it’s asked of her. <br/><br/>We think Annabella deserves a forever home who is willing to make her golden days the BEST she has ever known.
