Anna's Story
Say hello to precious Anna!

We have an update on her!!
When we first picked her up, we were told that the previous owner said she had epilepsy and chronic diarrhea ..
We had extensive tests done and found out that she actually has a GI disease that makes it very hard for her body to break down protein. We immediatly switched her to a hydrolyzed kibble and treats. We can’t get over how quickly everything changed for her!! It’s only been a few days and shes acting like a normal happy pup!! The prescription food is $55 a bag and should last about a month.

Anna is a 1½-year-old Rat Terrier mix weighing just 12 pounds. She is an incredibly joyful, affectionate girl who lights up every room she enters. Anna loves to romp around the yard and then settle in for a cozy cuddle session on the couch (best snuggle bug ever!).

She gets along wonderfully with all the pups in her foster home and has the sweetest smile! She rides beautifully in the car and is happiest when she’s close to her person.

Her story hasn’t always been easy. Anna was given away outside a Walmart, and the woman who took her later brought her to a vet to be euthanized. Thankfully, the vet team saw her bright spirit and knew she deserved a chance. They contacted us, and Anna has been thriving in foster care ever since.

She is playful, loving, and the perfect lap companion.

If you’re interested in giving Anna the forever home she truly deserves, please submit an application.

Adoption Application can be found at:
https://lonestarunderdogs.com/adoption-application-1

Adoption fee of $295 includes capstar (as needed), spay, microchip, deworming, DHLPP vaccination, rabies vaccination, bordetella nose spray, first month of flea/heartworm preventative and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption.
Dallas/Ft.
