But that did not steal the joy I have for life or the love I have for people and other dogs. Now I am hopeful that I will be fortunate enough to find a family of my own that will just want to love on me and give me the best care possible. <br/><br/>I am the Miss Congeniality of the group! I am friendly, super-sweet, easy-going with a fun personality, and generally just an all-around great girl! (I'm just repeating what I've been told, so you can't add immodest to my list!) Even though my life has been hard until now, I have never lost my hope for a better life or the happiness I gain from simple pleasures.<br/><br/>My dream is a fun and active family with canine siblings...I absolutely love to be around people and other dogs. I want to go on adventures and then crash on the couch while I snuggle with my people. I can't wait to meet my new family...I just know I'm going to love them so very much! Please hurry and come get me so my new best like can start!<br/><br/>Breed: Dachshund / Hound mix<br/>Age: 1 yr<br/>Weight: Currently around 27 lbs. <br/>Fitness: Active<br/>Kids: Yes, please!<br/>Other Dogs / Animals: Gets along fabulously with all the dogs she was brought in with<br/>Special Requests: A fenced-in yard where she can run and play with a canine sibling and a family that will remind her everyday of how much she is loved.<br/><br/>All HSWA dogs available for adoption are up-to-date on vet care, are heartworm-negative, have been (or will be) spayed or neutered, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.<br/>Our adoption fee is $125.
