Angus's Story

This stunning 21 month old male Great Dane is a blue harlequin dreamboat who once neutered will be ready to find his forever family. True to his age, he’s still very much a big puppy at heart—playful, goofy, and full of joyful energy. He loves to romp, engage, and be part of whatever fun is happening around him.

Angus has done wonderfully with the resident dogs in his foster home, (including another male Dane and a female pittie mix) and clearly enjoys canine companionship. When playtime winds down, he transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug, offering the sweetest baby kisses and wrapping you up in his signature “love-Buddha hugs.” 🥹💕

This handsome guy is housebroken, crate trained, sleeps through the night, and settles nicely into a routine—pretty impressive for a young Dane still learning the world. He thrives with structure and responds well when his needs are clearly met.

At mealtimes, he does best when fed separately from other dogs, with this simple management in place, he eats calmly and without issue. For this reason, we also recommend a home where small children are not present during feeding times.

He would be an amazing match for:
~A Dane-savvy or large-breed-experienced home
~A family who appreciates playful energy balanced with affection
~Someone looking for a loyal, loving companion who wants to be your shadow

If you’re searching for a big-hearted, big-bodied love who will fill your home with laughter, cuddles, and unforgettable moments, this boy may just be the one.
He’s ready to give his whole heart—are you ready to take it?

Please include your home area code and a phone number where a volunteer can reach you when contacting us about an adoption.

For more information on this dog and our adoption policies, visit MAGDRL at https://www.magdrl.org.
