Angus's Story

Meet Angus. Angus is a 10-month-old puppy who may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his true personality shines. Found with his sister, Annie, after the pair were discovered despite having previously been adopted together, Angus initially struggled with returning to shelter life. In foster care, however, he's blossomed into an affectionate, goofy, and gentle love bug who adores being close to his people. He loves snuggling, giving gentle kisses, and forming deep bonds with those he trusts.

Angus approaches the world with endless curiosity. Every walk is an adventure as he carefully investigates every interesting scent and often comes home wearing little "souvenirs" like leaves or flowers in his coat. Though still a puppy, he's refreshingly easygoing-after a sniff-filled walk or an enrichment toy, he's happy to settle in for a nap or cuddle session. He also has a playful side, especially when it comes to stuffed toys or chasing the occasional lizard, and his puppy antics are guaranteed to make you smile.

We've learned that Angus truly thrives with another friendly dog, who helps boost his confidence and gives him a companion for life's adventures. He's still growing and discovering the world, but with a patient, loving family, he'll continue to flourish. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate young dog with a gentle heart, an inquisitive spirit, and the perfect balance of playful and calm, Angus may be the companion you've been waiting for.
