Angel, the Happiest Boy from Jordan

Hey Everyone,<br/><br/>I’m Angel, a 2-year-old Canaan German Shepherd mix from Jordan. I was born in a dog-friendly neighborhood in Amman, along with my four siblings. Our mother, Nala, was malnourished and couldn’t feed us, but a kind Swedish woman in the community took us in and gave us the care we needed to survive. Thanks to her collaboration with CDA, we made it to the U.S., where all five of us found homes in July 2023.<br/><br/>I’m a stunningly handsome boy with a spring in my step and the curliest tail you’ve ever seen. When I first arrived in the States at 7 months old, I was shy and nervous. But over time, I’ve grown into a friendly, confident dog who loves life! I enjoy playing with my fellow rescue friends, and on weekends I join pack walks with the staff and other dogs—sometimes I even get to lead the way!<br/><br/>I’m curious and friendly around both dogs and people. While I can be a little shy at first, I’ve built trust with all the volunteers and staff here. With time, continued training, and love, I know I’ll feel safe and secure in my forever home. What I need most is someone who can offer me stability, kindness, and commitment.<br/><br/>I’m still young, full of energy, and always ready for walks, playtime, and adventures. If you’re a hiker or an active person, I’ll be right by your side on the trail. If you have another pup for me to bond with, we’ll be best friends in no time. I’m intelligent, loyal, and have the heart of a true survivor. I might be cautious at first, but once I know I’m safe, I’ll be your devoted companion for life. And yes, I can’t wait to snuggle with you on the couch!
