Angel - ready for love!

Angel is fostered in Ontario and is adoptable in Canada. <br/><br/>Angel is a PERFECT dog, calm, sweet with dogs, cats, people of all ages, so EASY to love! She might be a good therapy dog because of her calm, quiet nature. In early August, she went to Lowe's Home Store and walked all around calmly, greeting everyone she met. See photo of her with two boys. <br/><br/>Angel is just 18 months old, estimated, but has been through so much! We think Angel is a Plott Hound or a mix. Many Plott Hounds are all black or all red, but most are brindle-coated. <br/><br/>Angel is currently in a great foster home with a rescuer who has many dogs and cats in her fur family. Angel will need a securely fenced yard because she is almost impossible to catch when loose, if she were to slip her collar or harness. She can run like the wind!<br/><br/>Angel was a stray in Kentucky and she was afraid to go near people. She was in terrible, infected, starved condition and would not have lived much longer. Thanks to caring, determined dog trapper Rhonda W, Angel was eventually trapped in late January. She barely weighed 30 lbs and her feet were so infected that she could could only walk with pain. Angel's skin was stiff with mange, with open sores and most of her hair was gone. And she had heartworms (now fully treated and tested heartworm negative in early August.) Angel has recovered completely from her terrible neglect and starvation, and she is ready for love! <br/><br/>Here is more about Angel:<br/>--Angel is a big girl at 30 kg or 67 lbs<br/>--She might be a hound/lab mix -- her siblings look more like labs<br/>--She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and she no longer has heartworms<br/>--Sweet, calm and gentle personality<br/>--She loves to sleep in a bed with her humans<br/>--Great with dogs of all sizes and cats too!<br/>--She will sing for her supper!
