Angel's Story

She definitely is blossoming. She has an appointment with the opthalmologist on 7/27. Her eyes look better in this new photo but that is because they were just cleaned prior. She produces no tears and her eyes get covered with debris all of the time.

7/6/2025 - Sweet little Angel came to us in really rough condition. In time, she will be our example of how a pup like her can overcome and be a diamond! She may be ruff now, but just wait and see! :) She is a very sweet girl!

Angel has been in her foster home since Monday, June 30, 2025 and is coming along well. Her eyes are a mess...she has KCS (dry eye) that was so severe with her corneas covered with hardened debris. She had an ulcer in one eye. She is being treated and her eyes are showing improvement but we do think she is blind :( Her ears were infected and her body had numerous scabs and quite a bit of hair loss. All of this was most likely due to fleas. She has a mass in her inguinal area but the vet thinks it is a fatty lipoma. When she is spayed that will be removed and biopsied. She is also anemic ... again most likely due to fleas but we are waiting the results of a fecal. She is in heat and absolutely has been bred, probably numerous times.
