Angel's Story

Meet Angel

Angel is a truly special girl with a joyful spirit and a big heart. She’s playful, social, and absolutely loves being part of the action, especially when it involves other dogs, group activities, and plenty of human attention.

At daycare, Angel thrives. She jumps right into playtime, enjoys wrestling sessions with her buddies, and stays happily engaged throughout the day. She also has a softer side and makes sure to soak up every snuggle and cuddle she can get from staff. Whether she’s playing, participating, or cuddling up for affection, Angel is completely in her element.

Angel has also been working hard on her confidence and manners with professional trainers, and she continues to impress everyone around her. During a recent session with an outside trainer, she did wonderfully meeting a new person, building trust through one-on-one interaction, and successfully transitioning into the daycare group. Using other dogs to create positive associations has been a big win for her, and it’s helped her grow more comfortable in new situations.

She’s been practicing conditioned relaxation and learning how to stay calm in unfamiliar environments. Angel has shown great progress, observing pedestrians without reacting, checking in with her handler, and responding beautifully to praise and guidance. She’s smart, eager to please, and clearly understands what’s being asked of her (even trying to game the system for extra treats!).

Angel is friendly, loving, and deeply connected to her people. She’s still learning how to fully settle in exciting environments, but her trainers have seen tremendous growth and are building the right foundation to help her succeed.

Angel would do best with adopters who appreciate her intelligence, playful energy, and loving nature, and who are excited to continue helping her build confidence as she blossoms into her very best self.

She is truly a joy to work with and an absolute sweetheart.
