Meet Angel!

Angel is 10 years old and a super snuggler. Sadly, she is actually one half of a bonded pair who have had a very hard life. Over the past few years they’ve been bounced around from shelter to shelter. Evidently their owner was unable to maintain a housing situation. At one point, the dogs were abandoned in a car with nothing but water for four days. One of the pictures we have posted is of her male companion dog with her.

Angel is a sweet, sweet girl. She has some mobility issues, related to arthritis. She is a little stiff to get up or down and stairs are definitely a challenge for her. She limps just a bit on her front left leg and really only needs short walks to be happy. Since we’ve had Angel in a foster home with good food, supplements and regular walks, her energy level has already improved!

We think Angel deserves a fantastic home for the rest of her life. Actually, we think both dogs deserve to live a comfortable, safe life.

Adoption Process: We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure life long adoptions. We deliver all dogs to their new homes. All of our dogs are in foster homes.

PLEASE NOTE: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton because our volunteers deliver all of our dogs to their adoptive homes. We work very hard to create a family of our Indigo Rescue adopters because we want to be close enough to help in case there are any problems. We want everyone to be happy and successful!
