Angel's Story

Angel is the cutest little girl (weighing in at a whole whopping 30 pounds). Her DNA test shows that she’s about half husky and about 20% shiba inu, with some other breeds mixed in.

She LOVES walks and play time, but she needs a secure fence so she doesn’t take herself on unauthorized adventures. She would do well as an only dog, or with someone who is savvy with dog behavior, since she bonds strongly to her people and can get a bit possessive of them. She redirects easily when she does get jealous, but it takes time and attention to teach her she can’t “claim” people.

She is wary of new people and may bark, but once she trusts someone, she loves snuggles and cuddles. Pro Tip: popcorn goes a long way to earning her trust.

She walks well on a leash, is good when left on her own, and is quiet unless she barks at a stranger. She does well with teenagers and adults, but we wouldn’t recommend her with younger kids.

She is a fun, spunky girl who is ready for the next chapter of her life!
