ANGEL's Story
Angel is a deeply affectionate dog who seems happiest when she is close to her people. Even during enrichment time, she made it very clear that cuddles and attention were far more important to her than toys or distractions. She has been described as social, excitable, and eager for interaction, and she appears to genuinely crave connection and reassurance from the people around her. During walks and introductions with another dog, she showed relaxed body language, loose wags, and calm curiosity. Beneath all the shelter stress is a dog who clearly wants comfort, companionship, and a safe place to land.

Angel is currently receiving veterinary care while staff continue evaluating some medical concerns, including her low body weight and other abnormalities that will require follow-up care. Shelter life also appears to be emotionally overwhelming for her at times, and she can become overstimulated in the kennel environment. Outside of the kennel, though, she has shown a much softer and calmer side, especially during quiet one-on-one time. Angel feels like the kind of dog who would benefit enormously from a peaceful environment where she can decompress, feel secure, and finally exhale. For someone willing to give her patience, medical support, and lots of love, she has all the makings of an incredibly devoted companion.

All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care.
