Angel's Story
Angel is a senior, 6 pound Yorkie who has had a rough life. She lived in a kennel the majority of her life. Angel eventually moved on to a home from there, but it was not an ideal situation and she found herself looking for another place to go. She placed in our rescue with another small male Yorkie who was used for breeding.
Angel is a quirky little thing. She still exhibits traits of not being socialized with people. Angel loves to be held in your lap but it must be her idea. If you try to pick her up, sometimes she will run and cower. We do not believe she was abused physically other than living in a kennel as her buddy that came with her is more social. Angel is potty trained as long as you give her access to go out. She will do her business on a potty pad but will "nervous pee" occasionally not on the pad. The biggest issue with Angel is that she is an escape artist. She will climb a chain link fence and will easily squeeze herself through a small opening if left unattended. Angel has had most of her teeth removed and requires wet food. She has some anxiety issues and would do best with a person who is home the majority of the time. If left alone, Angel is not destructive at all, but she may potty on the floor. Putting a potty pad down for her eliminates most of this. She is extremely loving and wants to be with you wherever you are but for the first few weeks, she will need a patient adopter who will let her acclimate in her own time.
Angel is what we like to call a project doggie and needs extra attention for her adoption to be successful. She has been in foster care with us several months and has done wonderful.
If you are interested in giving Angel a home to spend her golden years, please copy the link below to access out adoption application.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1zGtCUUqOvBHxQtIy7j4-qA_W-b_PIitAaDXAf8MuKHg/edit
