He spent his entire first year outside in a dirty backyard with little to no human interaction. His mama was used for breeding, and once Andy and his sibling were too old to sell, they were simply discarded.<br/><br/>When he first arrived at Shelter Hope, he was completely covered in ticks and fleas. It looked like he had been living this way his whole life. It took three baths to get him fully clean and feeling comfortable, probably for the first time ever.<br/><br/>Despite everything he has been through, Andy has made an incredible transformation. At just 1 year old and 10 lb, this sweet Westie has gone from being frightened of people to absolutely loving affection. He now adores being cuddled, brushed, and petted, leaning into every moment of kindness as if making up for lost time. He is a really sweet and quirky little guy.<br/><br/>Now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Andy Warhowl is ready to begin a new chapter.
