Meet Andy

***Andy is currently in a trial adoption!***

This happy dog is Andy, a 1 year old male Rat terrier mix. Andy has a
smooth black and tan coat and darling flap ears. He is small, weighing only
14 pounds and this is full grown. Andy was pulled from our local animal
shelter where he had been picked up by Animal Control and no one came to
claim the cute little fellow.

Andy is frisky and fun! He loves to have a stuffed toy in his mouth that he tosses around to play with. He is a young dog and a terrier so he has some energy that will need to be put to good use.

Andy could be ok in an apartment but will need lots of exercising.
Andy will require a fenced in yard so he can run and play. If he catches a
good scent, he will take off. But he is to be a mostly inside dog. Andy
seems to get along well with the other dogs he has been around. He should
be fine with children 10 and older, not young children due to his small
stature.

We have started on his crate training. Andy is up to date on his
vet care. He will be neutered prior to adoption, is heartworm negative and
microchipped. He is on heartworm and flea/tick preventions. Such a great
dog, Andy will make a super fun addition to a very lucky owner's home!
