Andy’s FAQs

What is Angels Rescue of North Texas’s adoption process?

Potential adopters fill out an online pre-adoption questionnaire (application) for the desired animal. The questionnaire is then reviewed by an ARNT representative, usually within 48 hours of receipt. If the applicant is considered as a possible match for the animal a meet and greet between the applicant and the animal is then scheduled at a neutral location. If after the applicant meets the animal, the applicant and ARNT wants to go forward with the adoption, a home visit is then scheduled. In most cases the adoption is completed at the time of the home visit and the animal is released to the applicant. Note: Home visits are to insure there is proper shelter and provisions for the pet; that there is a proper and secure fence around the property and to introduce the new pet to existing pets, if any, in order to test their compatibility.
