Anderson Hound Mix Cumming, GA

Anderson is about 1.5 years old and is smaller than he looks at around 30 lbs. He is a happy-go-lucky guy who is constantly wearing a smile and lives for his human's attention, whether than be verbal praise, treats, or scratches. Anderson gets along with literally everyone, and has been both cat and kid tested - of course, he gets along wonderfully with other canines too! He has a playful nature, and rides well in the car. He is potty trained and comes when called, but isn't a huge fan of his crate (though he is compliant when treats are involved). Anderson is a healthy boy, and will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
