She's shy of strangers, but warms up quite quickly! She's a snuggler and is currently a bit of a shadow dog. We know that as her courage and self confidence grow, she will not be as clingy and needy. <br/><br/>Suna gets along with other dogs and is very attentive and food motivated! She is learning basic commands and is extremely intelligent! Suna is agile and now that she has learned to walk on a leash she is excited about hikes and adventures! She can also jump about four feet in the air and readily practices this in greeting her foster family! <br/><br/>We are seeking an adult home for Suna where she can continue to learn new commands, build her confidence through play and learning, and where she will get regular walks and hikes on area greenways and in area parks! She needs to go to pet friendly stores to just walk around people and go to area restaurants and breweries where she can practice sitting quietly beside her people while they enjoy their evening. Outdoor time is a must for Suna, as she is active and enjoys the outdoors! All are tested for heartworms and, if they test positive, have either been treated or provided alternative slow-kill treatment. Dogs are provided monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Dogs are also provided additional medical care, as needed. This care may include amputations, wound repair, treatment for skin disorders, dental care, treatment for infection and other medical needs
