Anchovy's Story
Anchovy is our beautiful and majestic fluff-ball who is as goofy as can be! When he prances around the yard, you'll see his long fur flowing in the wind.

Anchovy can be a bit shy upon first meeting, but once he is comfortable he will show you what a goober he is.

Anchovy has shown great dog skills here at the shelter, so he may benefit from living with another dog. Since Anchovy can startle easily, we would recommend he go home with adults and maybe older teens.

Anchovy is heartworm positive and is going through treatment here at the ARL. We would be happy to discuss fostering with the option to adopt once his treatment is complete. For more info on Anchovy, please email our foster coordinator Spencer at sfournier@rescueleauge.org

For more info on heartworm check out: https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources/heartworm-basics
