Anchor's Story

Anchor is currently located at the Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information!

Meet Anchor, an adorable border collie mix who's bound to win you over in no time! Although he can be a little shy at first if you give him the time his true personality will blossom. His favorite place is right by your side whether it be for a walk, helping with chores around the house, or snuggling in at the end of the night.

Anchor is amazing on leash and is very motivated to get better at his crate training. He is a sweet, calm boy who loves other dog friends! He is friendly, outgoing, and good with kids that are calmer as he can get overwhelmed by loud noises. Even though his life has not been the easiest up to this point, due to manageable joint pain. However, he has not let that stop him from living his life to the fullest.

Anchor is excited to find a loving home where he can find a cozy bed to curl up on and some outdoor space where he can sniff around and enjoy the outdoors!
