Amya (Uh-my-uh) is up for adoption! She is a shepherd mix that is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 72 pounds. She is a high energy girl that enjoys playing with toys and wants to be on the go constantly. She will not do well in an apartment, she can be destructive if she's bored and has some anxiety when left alone. Amya does good with most dogs, has been around cats, and children (older kids would be better, as she is very active and may knock over younger kids). She is loving, wants to be with her person, and is highly intelligent (she knows sit, shake, lay-down, wait and is house-trained). She would make an excellent running partner, hiking buddy, and/or companion for an active family. She would do best with someone who is familiar with the shepherd breed and/or is an experienced adopter.

Amya goes to the vet on Thursday, June 3rd and can go home after that date.

Adoption fee $60 (CASH or CHECK), includes spay, rabies and DHPPC vaccination.
