Meet Amy!<br/><br/>Amy is a 5 year old Maltipoo (Maltese/Poodle mix) weighing about 8 pounds, and shes as adorable as they come. With her short, stocky little build and soulful eyes, shes impossible not to fall in love with. Amy came to us as a breeder release, so she missed out on many of the experiences that help puppies learn the world is a safe place. Because of that, shes a little shy at first—but underneath that timid exterior is an incredibly sweet little girl just waiting for someone to show her what unconditional love feels like.<br/><br/>Amy is looking for a calm, patient family that understands trust takes time. She blossoms at her own pace, and every small milestone is incredibly rewarding. Once she begins to feel safe, her gentle, loving personality starts to shine. She isnt looking for perfection—shes simply looking for someone who will love her exactly where she is and celebrate every step forward.<br/><br/>Having another friendly, confident dog in the home is a must for Amy. She gains comfort by watching other dogs and learns from their example. Shes also perfectly fine with cats and would do best in a quieter home where she wont feel overwhelmed by too much activity.<br/><br/>Amy sleeps quietly in her crate every night and is doing a wonderful job learning to go potty outside. She has also successfully used pee pads. With continued structure, consistency, and patience, shell continue gaining confidence and settling into family life.<br/><br/>Amy is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and will receive a veterinary health certificate prior to adoption. She and Sheldon should be adopted separately so each can continue building confidence independently.
