Meet Amy! Amy is a tiny little sweetheart, about 2 years old and just 8 pounds. She’s a lovely girl, but she’s not the kind of dog who will run up and greet you the first time you meet her. In fact, she’ll probably hide. Amy needs someone who understands that trust takes time. It may take 2–3 weeks before she starts to feel safe and lets her sweet personality shine. She does enjoy the company of other dogs, and having a confident canine friend in the home may help her feel more comfortable. If you have a patient heart and are willing to let Amy go at her own pace, you’ll be rewarded with a very special little companion.
