Amos's Story
Please welcome Amos to the rescue!
This sweet, 4-year-old boy absolutely adores his people and loves to snuggle.
If you’re looking for a true shadow, Amos is your guy.
He loves relaxing on the couch in the evenings, and on work-from-home days, he’s usually sprawled out under the desk near my feet.
My two ding dongs go absolutely ballistic if they see squirrels, the Amazon guy or anything that moves near the house, but Amos couldn’t care less.
I’ve yet to hear him bark, and he rides like a champ in the car.
Amos sleeps in a crate at night and does very well.
While he’d happily trade it for the big bed with his people, he puts up zero fuss at bedtime.
He’s also doing very well with his house manners.
He gets along great with other dogs and has no issues letting my alpha run the house.
She tried to boss him around when they first met and showed no interest at all in her drama.
I also have a Boxer, and he didn’t seem bothered by her even though she has about 50 pounds on him.
As relaxed as he is I don’t think he’d have a problem with cats, iguanas, hamsters or any other critter you might have!
His tolerance level has been off the charts so far.
Amos was found wandering the streets alone, so we don’t know a lot about him.
I can tell you he’s a petite pug, only weighs 12 pounds and has an unusual walk.
His legs are a bit bowed, so he stands like Yosemite Sam, but they don’t appear to bother him.
There is a possibility that he’ll need some meds in the future to help with eventual arthritis, but other than that, he’s a healthy beautiful boy!
Amos would make a fabulous apartment dog, a companion for an elderly person or a family that’s looking for a very chill dog.
He’s not big on playing and is totally content relaxing with his people.
He’s already been neutered and has had his nares done, so he’s ready to go as soon as you are!

His legs are a bit bowed, so he stands like Yosemite Sam,
