Amos's Story

Meet Amos!

Amos is an adorable 7 year old mixed breed boy weighing around 12 pounds, and we think there may be a little Chihuahua in his mix! Whatever his breed may be, one thing is certain, this little gentleman is an absolute sweetheart! He’s incredibly loving, affectionate, easygoing, and just an all around wonderful little dog.

Sadly, Amos was lovingly surrendered into our care when his previous owner had to move and was unable to bring him along. He was clearly a well-loved boy, and we would love nothing more than to see him find another wonderful family who will cherish him just as much. Amos has such a gentle, sweet personality and is the kind of dog who makes companionship look easy. He’s perfectly happy enjoying a relaxing day at home, soaking up affection, and simply being close to his people.

Amos has been doing wonderfully in foster care! He’s great with all the other dogs in his foster home and has such a calm, easygoing nature. He’s also a big fan of car rides and would make a fantastic little sidekick for someone who enjoys bringing their dog along on outings. Whether it’s heading out for an adventure or spending a quiet afternoon relaxing, Amos is just happy to be included!

And his house manners? Fantastic! Amos is both house trained and crate trained, making him a pretty easy little companion to welcome into a home. Although we do expect that he will need to get adjusted to a new routine. At seven years old, he’s past those busy puppy stages and has settled into being a wonderfully sweet, well mannered adult dog. He’s truly just a good, good boy who doesn’t ask for much beyond love, comfort, and companionship.

Amos is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. He’s sweet, affectionate, social with other dogs, and has such a wonderful, laid-back personality. If you’re looking for a loyal little best friend who will happily keep you company and fill your days with love, Amos might just be your perfect match!

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
