Amistad's Story
Our sweet Amistad has had it a little rough his entire life. Amistad came to us from a high volume shelter that needed him to go quickly due to his past history there. This history was absolutely not his fault sadly. He has spent more than half of his life in a kennel environment. Amistad was in and out of that facility from returns to stray situations. He ended up coming back with clear signs of abuse and fear of loud noises as well as large objects in people’s hands. Amistad is way more comfortable with us here at BARK but he needs a place to lay his head.

Amistad loves humans and just wants to stick to them like glue. He is loyal, smart and incredibly sweet. He is a super chill dog so he doesn’t need a super active family. He prefers to be the only pet in the home from past trauma it seems.
