Amiga's Story
Mama Amiga is officially ready to start searching for her forever family

She has been such an easy foster and truly just goes with the flow. At around 2 years old and 33 pounds, she is the perfect medium sized companion.

One of Amigas favorite things in the world is toys. In fact, she has become quite the little thief, sneaking into the puppy play yard to steal toys before making a quick getaway so she doesnt have to deal with any of the puppies she raised.

Amiga is an incredibly sweet girl with a gentle, loving personality. She enjoys spending time outdoors, listens well, comes when called, walks nicely on a leash, and is potty trained. Were pretty sure she even likes kennels. When the puppies are out causing chaos, she often sneaks into one of their crates for a little peace and quiet.

Amigas happy to zoom around the yard when the mood strikes, but shes just as content relaxing by your side. While she may be a little reserved at first, she warms up nicely and is very friendly. She also does well with other dogs.

A couple things to know, Amiga is a jumper when she gets excited, so she would probably do best with older children. She also has a prey drive for birds, rabbits, and squirrels... but for reasons known only to Amiga, the foster family's chickens get a free pass, although we would never trust her fully.

If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing dog with just the right amount of personality, Mama Amiga might be your perfect match.

Amiga will be spayed prior to adoption. She is current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. To meet Amiga, please submit an application at
www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.

Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
