Ames came to us as a transfer, having been shot twice and testing positive for heartworm. Despite everything he’s been through, this sweet senior boy is looking for a calm, patient home where he can relax and continue healing. He’s currently on activity restriction, so a quiet environment is exactly what he needs.<br/>Ames loves basking in the sunshine with a nice breeze while listening to cars pass by. He also enjoys finding a cozy spot inside for a good nap. Ames would happily spend his days enjoying gentle scratches, plenty of snacks, and lots of love. <br/>Ames would do best as the only pet in the house. He is ready to find someone who will give him the peaceful retirement he deserves!
