What is Cherokee County Animal Shelter’s adoption process?

Adoption fee: $100 per pet WE DO NOT ACCEPT ADOPTION APPLICATIONS - We are a first come, first serve facility and we cannot hold animals for adoption. FOR UP TO DATE Available pets and our current adoption process please see our FACEBOOK PAGE or WEBSITE. Adoption includes: spay/neuter, microchip, first round of routine vaccinations  (1st set minimum for puppies or kittens), heartworm test for adult dogs, leukemia test for adult cats and kittens and some additional services. Hours of operation are: Adoptions Tuesday through Saturday 10am-5pm Intake Tuesday through Saturday 10am-4pm
