She is a “tiny tot” weighing in at 10 pounds. She has been loved and well taken care of her whole life; unfortunately her owner, a senior lady, passed away so we are helping Amber find a new owner. Like most IGs, she is shy when she first meets people so her new owner needs to be someone who is calm, patient and who has enough time and love to give Amber the attention she deserves. We will not place her in a home environment where she is without human companionship during the day. Amber is used to having outdoor space to potty and sunbather so she will need to have secure, well fenced access to outdoors. She is comfortable around small dogs but is fearful of large dogs. She is currently being fed a balanced home cooked food but as long as her new owner provides a high quality, soft food, not a kibble diet, she will continue to thrive and be well nourished into her senior years. <br/><br/>Amber is currently in foster care in San Diego; please, only local area, qualified applicants should apply. <br/><br/>This dog is being fostered in San Diego.
